The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for XOLO Era X is rolling out, and should be available on your devices. But once you get the update, you can expect Marshmallow's basic features such as Doze mode, App permissions, and the like. We couldn’t find any links to the latest firmware on Xolo’s software page either. Now, back to the news about the Xolo Era X, there are no details about the special features which the update brings, as no change log is available as of yet. But its worth nnoting that Xolo had released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for XOLO Era 4G, earlier this month.
Its good to see an Indian OEM, take responsibility to update its device, to a newer one, and that to an entry level phone. The phone was originally launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop, in February 2016. The company announced the launch of the updated operating system, today, on Twitter.
